HMAS Yarra 60th Anniversary Services were held in Victoria at Newport and Melbourne during early March each year with a service at the memorial at 11.00 am. and the Shrine of Remembrance Service, around the Eternal Flame, and around the "Yarra" Tree at the rear of Shrine.

Persons wishing to visir the memorial site can take publ;ic transport via Werribee and Williamstown Trains. These will take you to Newport railway station and then it is a reasonably short 15 minute walk down North Road to the Memorial.
