ACTIVITIES INFORMATION:
SECRETARY'S
DIARY NOTES.
1. Executive Dinner 2004. The annual Dinner will be held
on Thursday 26 August 2004 and an invitation Is enclosed with
this newsletter. Seating is limited so an early reply would be
appreciated with cheque. -
2. Annual Subscriptions 2004. The annual subscription of
$30.00 is now due and an invoice for it is enclosed for your early
action with relevant cheque. [ please disregard invoice if already
paid]
3. NAVAL REUNION 2004 IN SYDNEY. This event for former
and current naval personnel is going ahead from 1-8 August with
details from telephone 1800 065 105. 4. SHIP VISITS. Due to security
constraints, the league cannot provide advance visit information.

THE SECRETARY'S DESK.
1. NAVY WEEK 2004. SNO-SA has advised that Navy Week will
be deferred until mid February 2005 when it is anticipated that
a major ship visit can be incorporated into a more interesting
programme. Details later.
2. NEW SA SENIOR OFFICER CADETS. Lieut. Commander Robin
Skirrey ANC has been appointed as the new SNO for cadets in SA
and the League looks forward to working with him. He has also
advised that changed circumstances will 810W permit inspections
of the SA cadet units. This will enable the award of the Navy
League Efficiency Shield in 2004.
3. TS NOARLUNGA SPECIAL DAY. NLA-SA President, Secretary
and member Di Hill were delighted to be able to attend the special
Freedom of Entry march past Centro Colonnades and ceremonies at
the Unit's Lonsdale Depot on Sunday 2 May. Rain did not deter
the enthusiasln of the participants.
